Greetings ALL: We are only a month away from the end of the "Take Order" and also from the Fall Campout. The Fall is a very busy and exciting time and I hoe you all have time to enjoy it.
DUES
We need to finalize getting all dues paid. If you haven't yet paid, please do so this week. Annual dues are $85 per Scout for the entire year. Please make checks payable to "Pack 229". Mr. James Bass can assist you if you are unsure if you've paid.
CAMPOUT!
The campout is LESS than one month away! If you have NOT already registered for the campout, please do so on the Website. The campout is Nov. 3rd - 5th. Tigers arrive on the morning of the 4th. If you have questions about the campout, checkout the campout FAQ or ask a leader.
We are fortunate to be able and have the campout at Eagles Wings Retreat Center, just past Burnet, TX. This facility hosts many youth organization campouts. "The mission of Eagle's Wings Retreat Center is to serve Catholic and other Christian youth and to provide a Christ centered retreat facility and environment"
POPCORN!
We are a little over a third through the "Take Order" of our annual fundraiser. Please help as much as you can. We will not have another fundraiser under next year.
Please remember these dates:
Oct. 29th - End Sales
Oct. 30th - ALL POPCORN ORDERS DUE
Nov. 12 - Popcorn Distribution to Scouts
Nov. 14 - Popcorn Distribution to Scouts
Nov. 21 - Complete Delivery to Customers
If you never received an order form and would still like to participate, you can find the envelopes and order sheets in the Scout folder in the school office. Also, please try and collect the money upfront. Remember to give the customer a receipt for any money collected.
MEDICAL FORMS
Class I Medical Records are required for each Scout. Please turn in the form to the Cubmaster or Kate Denefe, our Pack medic. All information provided is strictly confidential. We MUST have a form on file for each Scout before attending the campout.
VOLUNTEERS
We Need Help with:
Service Project Coordination : Flag Patrol, etc.
Popcorn Pickup/Distribution
Campout : many roles need filled to make it a success.
SERVICE REMINDERS
Uniform Donations : Place used or new uniform items in the marked bin for Packs in need.
Cub Scout Quarters : Direct funding assistance for a current Pack in need
