What is Cub Scout Uniform ?

Class-A

All scouts are to wear the complete Class-A uniform to each den and pack meeting. Inspections will be performed periodically with awards for proper dress. The Class-A uniform consists of:

  1. Hat
  2. Shirt
  3. Neckerchief
  4. Neckerchief Slide (clasp)
  5. Shorts or Pants
  6. Belt
  7. Socks
  8. Patches:
    a. "Capital Area Council”
    b. Numerals “229”
    c. American Flag
    d. “Quality Unit 2006”
    e. World Scout Emblem
    f. Other standard patches (store attendants will advise).

Class-B

Scouts may wear the Class-B uniform to all Scouting events NOT den or pack meetings and not specifically designated Class-A events. Class-B uniforms may be worn at events such as hiking trips, campouts, summer-time events, day camp, etc.
