Overview

Our annual rocket launch is always a favorite. Scouts build their own model rockets from kits at home and then we all come together as a pack to watch them soar into the sky. It's a thrilling event that combines hands-on learning with outdoor fun. 

Safety is key! The rocket launch sites will be roped off into one large launch pad. Scouts must stay out of the launch pad site until it is their time to launch their rocket. 

Upon arriving, you will receive instructions and wadding/engine block from your den leaders. To assist with the den leader’s instructions, please watch the following videos on how to install the wadding and engine; improper installation causes misfires and disappointed children.
