Pack 229 is a 100% volunteer organization and our Den Leaders, Committee Members, and volunteers are critical to the success of our organization. This page is meant to serve as a list of resources to help you get started. In addition to the resources below, we have a pack google drive with a wealth of additional information. Reach out to our Committee Chair or Cub Master for access.
Formal leadership roles including Den Leaders and Committee Members are required to be registered with the Boy Scouts of America. This includes completing an application and taking a Youth Protection Training course (bi-annually).
Please complete the following steps:
Register as an adult at www.my.scouting.org
Fill out Adult Application to complete a background check.
Upload it to Virtual Customer Service - Greater Colorado Council
Select "Additional Membership Payments"

After formally registering with the Boy Scouts of America you will gain access to training. Youth Protection Training is required bi-annually and we encourage you to take the training appropriate to your role.
